Due to circumstances in my life, I have recently found myself feeling a bit like a fish stuck in a fish tank. This is the first in a two-part series of art that reflects that feeling.

What to do once you’ve bought the digital file?

DOWNLOAD 

The printable files have been placed inside a .zip file to save space.  Download the .zip file to your computer.   .zip files can be opened on both Mac and PC computers.  Once downloaded double click on the zip file.  It will open and show you the files inside. Select the file you want to extract for printing, then choose where to extract it to.  I recommend designating a clearly marked folder on your desktop so that it will be easy to find again later.

SAVE it to a COMPUTER!

DO NOT save or open the zip file on a phone or tablet, as those devices will compress the size of the files and affect the quality.

PRINT 

How do I print a digital file?
Since the digital files are sent as PDF and JPG files, they print just like any colour document or picture would.  The PDF is generally higher quality, but I include the JPG as some print services require you to send the image as a .jpg file.  I send the file in different ratios, so make sure to follow the print size guide when choosing which file to print.  All files are in the largest size shown in the chart.  Sizing it up will result in quality loss.

If you are printing it at home, I recommend using high-quality photo paper.   

Alternatively, you can either use an online service to have the files printed, or you can load the image onto a flash drive and take it to a print shop or photo lab to have it printed.
